Northern Irish pop punkers Hello Casanova are back with their new single “I’ll Be Waiting”, dropping on Supersonic Media on 25th November. A straight-up but edgy personal love song, “I’ll Be Waiting” was recorded by acclaimed producer Rocky O’Reilly (And So I Watch You From A Far, Fighting With Wire, Bella Union artist exmagician). Despite an underlying Celtic-melodic guitar riff slightly reminiscent of Big Country, this composition also strongly calls to mind such modern-day bands as Blink 182 and Green Day.
The accompanying music video captures the live energy of a Hello Casanova show, presented in combination with unique visuals, featuring up-and-coming Irish skaters and bike athletes. “The music video was recorded in a skate park in southern Ireland and features people from the age of 6-26 all skating around having a great time while we perform,” explains Hello Casanova frontman Matthew Irwin. “Pop punk can be cliché. It can be the same three chords over, and it can be all chorus with the rest filler. We set out to try and give pop punk a different angle – to give all the heart that the genre deserves and to add our own spin on the sound”.
Brighton based Hard Rock quartet Dorje, who are a part of the Supersonic Media Publishing roster, are back with their new EP “Centred and One”. The EP is sitting pretty at the #1 spot in the iTunes Metal chart, #3 in the iTunes Rock chart and an extremely respectable #14 in the iTunes general chart!
The Inconsistent Jukebox is the brainchild of Yorkshire musician / songwriter Barry Snaith. Together with an array of global talent from many creative genres, he crafts music, surrealist human art, motion graphics, dance and video, in a way like no other, which is guaranteed to blow your mind.
“Bold Ego Fledgling” is the first single from The Inconsistent Jukebox and features Ang Kerfoot on vocals. Paul Kerr, BBC 6Music selector says of “Bold Ego Fledgling” “It’s a stunning slab of gritty, grimy industrial electro reminiscent of the KLF at their idiosyncratic best. From the distorted, glitch guitars to the impassive rapped vocals, it’s impossible to slot it into one of those neat little genre boxes”.
“Bold Ego Fledgling” is out now! Check it out below on your preferred choice platform:
